For the first time on TCM: Nov. 2nd. The Girl Cant Help It(1956). Comedy/musical film starring Jayne Mansfield, Tom Ewell, and Edmond O'Brien.
TCM Nov. 2nd. Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?(1957). A comedy film starring Jayne Mansfield and Tony Randall, with Betsy Drake, Joan Blondell, John Williams, Henry Jones, Lili Gentle, Mickey Hargitay, and a cameo by Groucho Marx. The film is a satire on popular fan culture, Hollywood hype and the ad industry, which was making millions of dollars from television ads.
On TCM Nov. 4th. A 4 movie tribute Starring.. Gloria Stuart. Her Hollywood career spanned, from 1932 until 2004, she appeared on stage, television, and film, for which she was best-known. She played Claude Rains love interest in the film, The Invisible Man, and as the elderly Rose Dawson Calvert in the Academy Award-nominated role in, Titanic. Happy Birthday: Elke Sommer! (Born 5 November 1940), was spotted by film director Vittorio De Sica whilst on holiday in Italy, and started appearing in films there in the late 1950s. She quickly became a noted sex symbol and moved to Hollywood in the early 1960s. Happy Birthday: Vivien Leigh! (5 November 1913 – 8 July 1967) was an English actress. She won a Best Actress Academy Award for her performance as Blanche DuBois in, A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), a role she also played on stage in London's West End, as well as her performance as, Scarlett O'Hara, with Clark Gable, Gone With The Wind.
