Drew Barrymore (born February 22, 1975), actress, producer, and director. She is the granddaughter of actor John Barrymore. She first performed in an advertisement when she was eleven months old. Barrymore made her film debut in, Altered States (1980). Afterwards, she starred in her breakout role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She quickly became one of Hollywood's most recognized child actors, going on to perform in mostly comedy films.
Sylvia Sidney (August 8, 1910 – July 1, 1999), who was best known in the 1930s for performing in gangster films.

ReplyDeleteI just saw a young (22 YO) Sylvia Sidney on TMC in the 1932 movie Merrily We Go To Hell, and couldn’t believe how much Drew Barrymore looks like her. So much so, I wonder if they have a common ancestor!
